With collaboration from two secondary schools, we’ve ensured that every aspect, right down to the last detail, fully meets staff and school requirements. Thanks to extensive hands on testing by everyone from teachers to school administrators, the system is thorough, effective and simple to use. With its clear instruction-based interface, teachers and parents are never presented with confusing, complicated menus and can be sure that the software will provide exactly what they need.
Despite it’s easy to navigate menu structure, there are plenty of options for administrative staff which cater for all possible analysis requirements, including giving senior staff the ability to check, audit and approve reports. The system not only offers the option to view which reports are overdue and which parents haven’t logged in, but also tables of student performance and attendance figures.
Simple Integration
Staff, students and their class lists can all be imported from your existing MIS system (including SIMS) so there is no need to worry about time-consuming data duplication. It is even possible to import grade data from systems such as Assessment Manager (or similar systems) for each reporting period.

Through numerous consultations with senior staff, the reporting software has been developed with individuality in mind; each school can choose which features they would like activated within their own implementation of the system – including comment banks, free text, attendance tracking etc. Schools are also able to customise the look and feel of the software in order to match their individual branding. The system is hosted on reliable, dedicated severs in the UK that are protected by hardware and software firewalls with physical security systems.
School Reports Online has utilised a role-based setup meaning you can easily assign certain staff to more senior roles (such as Tutor, Head of Department or Head of Year). The system then automatically offers them the options relevant to their role.
